Brady Bacon Delivers Hoffman Racing All Time USAC Win One Hundred Thirty Three in this 94th Season at Tony Hulman Classic Terre Haute HAUTE. This is Brady's 48th all time wins breaking a tie with long time Hoffman driver Tracy Hines.

Brady GETS USAC NATIONAL WIN 51 - Top Gun at Macon Speedway, Macon, IL - WIN 136 FOR HOFFMAN

HALF-SPIN, FULL WIN: BACON PASSES HEWITT FOR 3RD ALL-TIME WITH OCALA WIN

Ocala, Florida (February 16, 2023)………One lap into Thursday night’s Winter Dirt Games XIV USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship season opening feature at Bubba Raceway Park, Brady Bacon’s evening was seemingly finished just about as soon it had begun.

At the end of 30 laps, the Broken Arrow, Okla. driver found himself greeted in victory lane by one of the all-time greats, Jack Hewitt, whom Bacon had just surpassed to move to third on the series’ all-time career win list.

Bacon’s 47th career USAC National Sprint Car feature victory was monumental in several respects. Most notably, he elevated another step up the mountaintop, moving past Hewitt and into a tie with 2002 series titlist Tracy Hines for third all-time in series feature wins.

Best yet, Hewitt was in the audience for the occasion and made his way to victory lane to put his arm around Bacon following his monumental accomplishment, embracing the newest member of the USAC Sprint Car Mount Rushmore in terms of feature triumphs.

“It means a lot,” Bacon beamed. “There aren’t many organizations that have the list of accomplished drivers like USAC does. Being able to pass a guy like Jack Hewitt and guys like A.J. Foyt, Tony Stewart, Jeff Gordon and Levi Jones on a list like that is something I’m really proud of.”

Robert Hoffman was on hand to Receive the Richard Hoffman Championship Trophy for 2020

“I feel so blessed to be teamed up with Brady Bacon.”

“We got our championship hardware from USAC tonight at Lawrenceburg. I’m not sure how it can get much better than to receive the award in front of my home track crowd."

"It’s such an honor that USAC named the car owner’s championship after my father but at the same time it was tough to look at the car owner champion trophy and see my dad’s name. I miss him terribly and really wished he could have seen Brady’s run in the feature. He would have been so happy to see the #69 in victory lane again at Lawrenceburg.”

“Brady’s drive tonight just demonstrated why he is a championship caliber driver!”

USAC National Sprint Car Owners Trophy
Named in Honor of Richard Hoffman

Richard Hoffman was honored in a momentous manner at the USAC Night Of Champions last night. On behalf of Hoffman Auto Racing and my entire family I want to thank USAC for this tremendous honor. I’m certain my dad is smiling down on all.

From the USAC news release:

Becoming a National Sprint Car entrant champion is an incredible achievement that is the ultimate reward for a car owner at the conclusion of a hard-fought year. This year’s award carried an extra special meaning after Richard Hoffman’s passing this past April. Hoffman was the most prolific car owner in USAC National Sprint Car history whose teams have earned more victories and more championships than any other team in the history of the series.

This year, and forever more, the National Sprint Car entrant champion trophy will be named in honor of Richard Hoffman, and its first recipient was Reinbold/Underwood Motorsports.

From all of us at Hoffman Auto Racing, congratulations to Reinbold/Underwood Racing on receiving the first Richard Hoffman National Sprint Car Entrant trophy!

Richard Hoffman
Sep 2, 1942 – Apr 30, 2019
It’s with heavy hearts the we report Richard Hoffman has taken the checkered flag in this life. Richard passed away surrounded by his family. The family asks for your continued prayers for Richard and for them during this difficult time. We had 21 years together racing all over the Country my friend. Racing will never be the same for me without my friend Richard there. Oh the stories we have to tell.
I miss you my dear friend, thanks for letting me be a part of Hoffman Racing.

Another Bucket List Item to Cross off the List for Tony Stewart and Hoffman Racing

Always great to have a driver like Tony Stewart in your car. But to have him back again after such a storied career in Indy Cars and NASCAR was defiantly a bucket list item for all of us. It was fortunate that the Little 500 was on his list as well and he chose the Hoffman Racing Team to drive for. After a disappointing 21st place qualifying spot, adjustments were made to the car and Tony found the podium after a stellar performance in the Mean Green Machine.
